YAHR MusicFest

The management team of the Yorkshire and Humber Region are organising a music festival on 13th June 2023. The aim of this 1-day event is to showcase and celebrate the musical talent in our region, providing an opportunity for members of our u3a music groups to perform, and to listen to, and socialise with, members of other u3a music groups in the region.

We will have at least 25 performing groups, covering a wide range of music. Non-performers will also be able to attend, but numbers will be limited by the size of the venue.

The event will be held in York St John University, which is in the centre of York, and has easy access by public transport, with buses from the railway station and the park and ride facilities. There is also a large carpark directly opposite, with spaces for coaches.

There is also a flyer which gives details of the event and can be downloaded by any interested member. If you have any questions please contact Trevor via email twbarrowcliffe@yahoo.co.uk or on 01947 600963.
